singlecupcoffeeThe name almost says it all. A single cup coffee maker has the ability to make 1 cup of coffee at a time, usually with very very minimal mess to clean up. Most use either a coffee pod or packet which contains the coffee. These are then put into the coffee machine and the machine is started. Hot water then passes over the pod or through the pouch, creating the coffee which is dumped into your cup.

The idea has been around for a long time. It has recently become common in the home or office. This concept of single cup coffee was previously used quite a bit for vending machine which dispensed coffee, hot coco, and sometimes soup!

There are many companies that have jumped into manufacturing of these machines. Keurig and Flavia are 2 of the more common brands. Each brand usually uses it’s own type of pod and also has it’s own set of flavors. I will be providing you with more info on many different types of single cup coffee makers. They taste better than you think, and it’s so darn easy to use!
